
The results of the 2025 Fairest of the Fair program were finalized during the coronation held on
January 26, 2025, at the Activity Center in Jefferson County Fair Park. This event marked the start of an exciting journey for the newly crowned Fairest, who will serve from 2025 to 2026.
Hanna Brattlie, a 19-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, was crowned the 2025 Jefferson County Fairest of the Fair. A lifelong participant in the Jefferson County Fair, Hanna has admired the Fairest of the Fair program since childhood. Her passion for rabbits and poultry has been evident from an early age. She looks forward to mentoring exhibitors in the upcoming Fair as she takes on her new role.
The Fairest of the Fair serves as the official representative of the Jefferson County Fair. Part of her duties will be to attend numerous events throughout the year. These events include the Dairy Breakfast, parades, community gatherings, and book readings.
Hanna is already brainstorming creative ways to connect with the community in her upcoming term.
The coronation event brought together family, friends, and former Fairest titleholders. Before the crowning, Danielle Chwala, the 2024 Fairest of the Fair, delivered an emotional farewell speech. Reflecting on her experience.
Following Chwala’s heartfelt remarks, she and 2019 Fairest titleholder Libby Hafften presented Hanna with her crown, sash, and tiara.
The coronation followed the judging day, held on January 10, 2025. During judging, Hanna participated in a professional development session, created a social media campaign and poster, and interacted with the judges in a professional manner. Judges Rochelle Mitchell and Jim Braughler, both dedicated supporters of the Fair, evaluated the candidates. It was based on poise, professionalism, and passion.
