
The Center for Dairy Research (CDR) is launching an online training program designed to equip dairy plant workers and operators with a strong foundation in dairy processing. This interactive course, running from January 27 to April 7, 2025, provides a comprehensive introduction to dairy plant operations, dairy products, and essential processing techniques. The course includes 11 weekly live online classes led by experienced CDR instructors and industry experts.
Participants will benefit from a rich curriculum that covers dairy products, processes, and plant operations, with each session encouraging engagement through discussions and questions. Classes are held live on Mondays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. CST, and recordings are available for on-demand viewing throughout the course.
The $1,425 course fee includes:
- Access to 11 weekly live online sessions.
- Recordings of each session to review at any time.
- A printed booklet of presentation materials for easy reference.
- Support from an industry mentor to enhance learning and project completion.
A final project, due by May 5, 2025, will allow students to apply their knowledge to a real-world dairy processing scenario.
Registration is open through January 13, 2025. Interested participants should register early, as space is limited.
