College Costs Covered: Equity Livestock Scholarships

Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association is offering ten $1,250 scholarships for university students in 2025. Four $1,000 scholarships are also available for technical college students.

“Equity Livestock is proud to support students’ educational goals by providing scholarships,” says Curt Larson, President/CEO. “Education makes a difference, but college costs can be challenging. Our scholarships help make it more affordable, and we believe in investing in future leaders.”

Eligible students must not have previously received an Equity scholarship. University students need at least two semesters completed, while technical college students must have completed one. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. The student, their parent, or grandparent must be an active shipping member or employee of Equity. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on academics, extracurriculars, and application responses.

Applications are available on the cooperative’s website at www.equitycoop.com or by calling 608-356-8311, ext. 152. Applicants must submit a completed application, transcript, course schedule, and one reference letter. The deadline is November 30, 2024.
