On Aug. 16-18, join the Badger Steam & Gas Engine Club for its 61st annual show in Baraboo! The club is bringing together enthusiastic exhibitors to continue the mission of preserving agricultural and industrial heritage.
This year’s feature is J.I. Case. Badger Steam & Gas will be hosting the J.I. Case Heritage Foundation’s annual get-together.
Club President Steve Roudebush sits down with Mid-West Farm Report intern Elizabeth Schoeneberg to tell his personal connection to heritage machinery, and his hope for the tradition to continue.
“We have such a wide variety of steam engines and prairie tractors, there’s something there for everyone,” he says.
Badger Steam & Gas Engine Club prides itself on offering a great, affordable show for the entire family. Adults are $10 (ages 12 and under free), or get a weekend wristband for $20. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy displays of running equipment throughout the 293-acre grounds in Baraboo. Free parking is located across 50 acres. On Aug. 18, veterans get free admission.
