The average price Wisconsin farmers got for corn in June was $4.24 per bushel, according to the latest agricultural prices report from USDA. This was 1 cent below the May price and $2.00 below June 2023.
The report from the National Agricultural Statistics Service says Wisconsin soybean farmers got $12.80 per bushel in June. That’s $1.10 above the May price but $1.10 below the June 2023 price.
The June average oat price per bushel, at $2.90, was $1.32 below May and $1.31 below June 2023.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $190 per ton in June. This was $13 above the May price and $39 above the June 2023 price. The June 2024 alfalfa hay price, at $199, was $14 above the previous month
and $44 above June 2023. The average price received for other hay during June was $136 per ton. This
was $14 below the May price but $9 above June last year.
The Wisconsin all milk price for June 2024 was $22.10 per hundredweight (cwt). This was 80 cents above last month’s price and $5.70 above last June’s price. The U.S. all milk price for June was $22.80 per cwt, 70 cents higher than Wisconsin’s price and 80 cents higher than last month’s U.S. price.
