
The Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) will host its annual Agricultural Banking Conference April 13–14, 2023, drawing over 130 attendees to Wisconsin Dells for sessions led by nationally recognized speakers and experts on agriculture, banking, and the economy. Speakers include:
- Edwin Elfmann, SVP – agricultural and rural banking policy, American Bankers Association;
- Vincent Gauthier, manager, Climate-Smart Agriculture Environmental Defense Fund;
- Blaine Nelson, senior economist of strategy, research, and analytics, Farmer Mac;
- Dr. David Kohl, professor emeritus, Virginia Tech Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics;
- Leonard Polzin, dairy markets and policy outreach specialist, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Division of Extension;
- Cari Sabel, business & cooperative programs specialist, USDA – Wisconsin Rural Development;
- Eric Snodgrass, science fellow, principal atmospheric scientist, Nutrien Ag Solutions; and
- Hank Wagner, founder, fourth-generation dairy farmer, Wagner Leadership Training are among the event speakers.
The conference begins at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 and adjourns at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023. It will be held at the Kalahari Convention Center, 1305 Kalahari Drive, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965.
