The Wisconsin Association of FFA is recruiting interns to help share the celebration of FFA members
leading up to and during the 2023 Wisconsin State FFA Convention occurring June 12-15, 2023, in
Madison, WI.
The goal of the internship positions is to provide collegiate students an opportunity to gain hands-on
experience covering a convention, while also having a media presence for all audiences. Interns are
essential to engaging our members and stakeholders to continue providing the next generation of
agriculturists for the world.
Multiple intern positions are offered this year. Ideal candidates should have completed at least one
year of collegiate coursework, with a focus in the areas of agriculture, communications, journalism or
a related field. FFA experience is preferred. Position descriptions are below. Full job descriptions can

Public Relations Team Internship Positions
Digital Content Intern: This position works with the Wisconsin State FFA Convention Public
Relations Team and convention managers to assist with development and implementation of
the Wisconsin Association of FFA social media and online content for purposes of outreach,
marketing, and public relations of the Wisconsin State FFA Convention.
News Content Intern: This position works with the Wisconsin State FFA Convention Public
Relations Team and convention managers to assist with development and implementation of
the Wisconsin Association of FFA newspaper, television, and radio content for purposes of
outreach, marketing and public relations of the Wisconsin State FFA Convention.
Photographer Intern: This position works with the Wisconsin State FFA Convention Public
Relations Team and convention managers to assist with all photography for purposes of
outreach, marketing and public relations of the Wisconsin State FFA Convention.
Wisconsin Association of FFA will provide lodging and meals throughout the event and will provide a stipend upon the successful completion of the internship. Intern’s responsibilities begin upon hiring in May and conclude following the week after convention. Should the intern desire to receive internship credit for this experience, Wisconsin FFA will work with their respective University to ensure credit requirements are met. Expense of the internship credit will be the responsibility of the intern.

Applicants will be notified of their status no later than Thursday, April 20, 2023. Interviews will take place in April 24-26, 2023. Final offers will be sent no later than Friday, April 28
