Supporting and recognizing farmers and agriculturists has always been a priority for Culver’s. They strive to create programs that do just that while also benefiting FFA chapters which are the future of the agriculture industry.
Alison Demmer, Public Relations Manager at Culver’s, shares more about their new farmer appreciation program, To Farmers With Love.
The To Farmers With Love program is a way of appreciating farmers as we continue through harvest season. It is an opportunity for individuals to nominate a farmer in their life to win a prize package.
“We created this project because we are always looking for ways to show our gratitude and appreciation for farmers,” says Demmer. “We’ve been doing this since 2013 and this year we opened it up for a longer period of time as To Farmers With Love runs from November 1-15, 2022.”
Culver’s started in Wisconsin in 1984 and farmers were the people who stepped up to help them serve quality food to their guests. That relationship and sentiment continues even today. Demmer says that they couldn’t serve their butter burgers, fresh frozen custard, and all of the quality food on their menu if it wasn’t for farmers who grow our food.
“We always are looking for a way to show our appreciation and to help our guests feel connected as we invest in agriculture. We know if we’re going to continue to have a sustainable food supply, we need to continue to produce nutritious food for our growing population and that won’t be possible without farmers,” adds Demmer.
You can nominate a farmer in your life by going to https://www.culvers.com/to-farmers-with-love. Share your story about the farmer, why they should be nominated, and how they make a difference in their community.
Fifteen winners will receive a chance to win a $500 cash prize, Culver’s gift cards, thank you farmers merchandise, and select a local FFA chapter to have Culver’s make a donation to in their name.
Demmer adds, “Culver’s is continually invested in agriculture education and supporting it and this program gives us a chance to help farmers connect to young agriculturists. We’ve been able to donate over $3.5 million to FFA and that number will continue to rise by the end of the year.”
Harvest season is a stressful time for farmers and Culver’s wants to show them that people care about them. Nominate a farmer today and give them the chance to be recognized for being someone that’s making a difference in agriculture and ensuring that we can continue to have a vibrant agricultural community for years to come.
