Wisconsin Student Earns National Recognition

The National FFA Organization has announced the 2022 National FFA Agriscience Fair winners for Plant Systems. The winners were recognized during the fourth session of the 95th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.

The National FFA Agriscience Fair recognizes students who gain real-world, hands-on experiences in agricultural enterprises. Students use scientific principles and emerging technologies to solve complex problems related to agriculture, food and natural resources. The agriscience fair is for middle and high school students. Students compete in one of six categories in the agriscience fair and under one of the six divisions — either individually or in a team.

The winners are:
Plant Systems: Division 5
Clare Viau of the Stevens Point FFA Chapter in Wisconsin

Plant Systems: Division 1
Brady Williamson of the Okechobee Yearly Middle FFA Chapter in Florida
Plant Systems: Division 2
Madeline Glaze and Aalyah Turk of the Youth Middle FFA Chapter in Georgia
Plant Systems: Division 3
Lindsey Johnson of the Visalia-Central Valley Christian FFA Chapter in California
Plant Systems: Division 4
Aletha Dunn and Harley Huber of the Stewarts Creek FFA Chapter in Tennessee
Plant Systems: Division 6
Berkley Carvey and Jentry Chisum of the Abernathy FFA Chapter in Texas
