McCain Foods, a leading supplier of frozen potato and snack food products, set a goal to implement regenerative agriculture practices across 100% of its potato acreage worldwide by 2030.
Jess Newman, Senior Director of Agriculture & Sustainability at McCain Foods, says they plan to engage the community in this initiative by launching a regenerative agriculture framework.
During McCain’s Sustainability Week, the company shared its progress partnering with communities to advance its regenerative agriculture objectives and its mission to produce planet-friendly food. Newman says this means growing food responsibly, reducing McCain’s carbon footprint, supporting the communities where McCain operates, and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
McCain Foods employs more than 1,400 people at its facilities in Appleton, Plover and Rice Lake. Find more information at www.mccain.com/about-us/
