“Where Tradition And Technology Meet” is the theme of this year’s Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in Clark County. The goal of the show this year is to honor traditional farming practices while uniting them with modern technologies.
Richard Halopka, Senior Outreach Specialist for UW-Madison Division of Extension in Clark County, is in charge of the Education and Extension aspects of this year’s Farm Tech Days. He explains how he plans to uphold the theme and shares what activities can be expected.
Halopka hopes that Extension can serve as a catalyst to generate discussion among visitors while also helping to answer their questions. He says that they will also be able to help identify weeds, diseases, and other potential problems that visitors would like addressed.
Wisconsin Farm Tech Days will be held at Roehl Acres Farm and Rustic Occasions in Loyal on July 12-14.
