Holding Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is no small feat. Aside from the hours that go into planning and setting up, the work that goes into gathering volunteers, and the coordination that goes into carrying out a show of that size, there is the price tag that comes with the show.
Jim Mild Brand, Co-Chair of the Fund Development Committee for Clark County Farm Tech Days, shares what the cost of this show looks like.
Mild Brand mentions that there were 190 companies and individuals that played a part in sponsoring the show monetarily or through “in kind” donations. He also shared that every cheese, butter, and milk bottling plant in Central Wisconsin contributed to the show in some way.
The Fund Development Committee is extremely close to meeting their goal, and Mild Brand plans to donate to volunteer groups that help at the show, as well as allocate funds towards scholarships that student volunteers can apply for.
Clark County Farm Tech Days will be held at Roehl Acres and Rustic Occasions in Loyal on July 12-14.
