Landmark Creamery, founded in 2014, offers an array of sheep milk and pasture-grazed cow milk products at their store in Paoli. They are a recent recipient of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection’s (DATCP) Dairy Processor Grant, and have also received a grant from the Dairy Business Innovation Alliance (DBIA).
Anna Landmark, Co-Owner and Head Cheesemaker at Landmark Creamery, says that with the grant money they are working to expand and complete their own building renovations, while bringing in new equipment, employees, and products.
Seven Acre Dairy – a cheese factory under restoration that will feature a dairy cafe, unique dining options, hotel and more – is just up the road from Landmark Creamery. A partnership between the two operations will allow Anna and Anna, co-owners of Landmark Creamery, to expand their product varieties – which includes churning their own butter.
Once fully renovated, viewing windows will allow customers to view the cheese making and butter churning process at both locations. Anna says that educating consumers and being transparent about their business and the farmers they work with is a top priority.
