Starting this Saturday, FFA chapters around the country celebrate National FFA Week. February 19-26, 2022 is the time to share what FFA is and the impact it has on members every day.
When I was in FFA, our chapter kicked off FFA Week with a community pancake breakfast and it would end with our annual FFA Week assembly at the high school. My favorite FFA Week activity was the assembly, which consisted of many activities such as turkey bowling, cheese curd toss, faculty kissing the mystery animal, and the farmer olympics. It was a great way to incorporate agriculture into the lives of all students whether they had agricultural background or not. It was always a school favorite!
What better way to show your support of FFA than to get involved in FFA Week? Whether it’s in person, on the phone or via social media, be sure to share your FFA stories during #FFAweek!
