The Dairy Innovation Hub facilitates innovative research at the UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, and UW-River Falls campuses, through the State of Wisconsin’s $7.8 million yearly investment.
Dr. Heather White, Faculty Director for the Dairy Innovation Hub, says that their focus remains on four key areas that affect all Wisconsinites; land and water, animal health and welfare, farm business and community, and human health and nutrition.
These key areas are what drive research at the three college campuses, Heather says, which allow undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to not only propose new research, but also train under some of the states top talent in the dairy industry.
