Preventing hoof-related diseases, preserving milk quality and capturing the latest market news will be at the center of PDPW’s The Dairy Signal™ next week. The Tues. Dec. 21 episode will focus on prevention and treatment of digital dermatitis; the Weds. Dec. 22 session will feature research on bedding and environmental impact on mastitis and milk quality. On Thursday, economist Dan Basse will return with a bi-weekly market analysis and news update.

Tuesday, Dec. 21

Tune in for a discussion of the ins and outs of digital dermatitis and how you can prevent and manage this crippling disease. Episode presenter will be:

Wednesday, Dec. 22
Take a deep dive into the latest research on how bedding programs and the environment can impact mastitis and overall milk quality. Episode presenter will be:

· Dr. Pamela Ruegg, DVM, MPVM, David J. Ellis Professor of Antimicrobial Resistance & Large Animal Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University

Thursday, Dec. 23
Join us for the final market and industry news discussion for 2021, with a review of the year and a look ahead at the economic, production, weather, export, financial and other trends that will impact our industry in 2022. Episode presenter will be:
