Labor shortages can be seen across the country, affecting Wisconsin farmers and business owners on more levels than one. Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson says heading into this period of stagflation can lead to a long term shortage of workers throughout the economy.

China has further not complied with seven agreements under the previous USDA Phase One and Phase Two trade deals, restricting any further discussion. Johnson said China can be viewed as a 1.4 billion person potential market, and maintaining strong relationships with other trading partners to approach this issue as a unified front can be a solution.
