The question of the hour, “Am I ready for baby to come?” In some regards, yes. In others, not so much.
Our first son was born right in the middle of corn silage. Hopefully the timing of this baby will be between corn silage and fourth crop hay. I am a little nervous about harvest, a newborn baby and an unstable daycare situation, but that’s a post for another day. Today we working on packing for the hospital stay.
I can definitely tell this is our second child because I am a lot more relaxed about everything. Ordered some diapers from Target and set out the newborn clothes and called it good. However, we are heading up north this weekend to visit my family and now my husband, Noah, has decided it’s time to be a little more prepared.
I updated my packing list that’s on my blog. I’d say I am a middle of the road packer. Not headed there with 10 bags, but I am also not going in empty-handed. Since all labor and births are different I like knowing I have a few extra things if something doesn’t go as ‘planned’.
