Equipment dealer Agromatic Inc. is the sponsor of the Fond du Lac County Holstein Futurity. The Agromatic Holstein Futurity will be held Friday, July 16 at the 170th Fond du Lac County Fair.
“We are happy to support the dairy producers who work hard to make quality dairy products for everyone to enjoy and we wish the best of luck to all the talented Holstein breeders in Fond du Lac County who work hard to make this show a huge success,” Agromatic President Dean Birschbach said.
Agromatic’s headquarters is in Fond du Lac, but there are dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Other sponsors of the event include Fond du Lac County Agricultural Society, Fond du Lac County Holstein Assn., Summit Automotive, Inc., Woods Flowers and Gifts, Frey Livestock Trucking, IBA Distributors, Compeer Financial and Tari Costello.
For the 17th year the show will consist of two age classes of Holsteins. The five-year-old show will begin at 6:45 p.m. in the Fairgrounds Cow Palace. The two-year-old class will follow. The judge this year is Krysty Kamps of Darlington.
Dignitaries joining the show that evening will be Julia Nunes, Wisconsin’s 74 th Alice in Dairyland, Fond du Lac County Fairest of the Fair, Parker Schmitz, Wisconsin Holstein Princess, Zoe Ertl and Wisconsin Holstein Princess Attendant, Emily Stumpf.
Futurity committee members include Rae Nell Halbur and Richard Julka, co-chair, Jim and Marlene Kelroy, Kurt Loehr, Joe Sattler and Amy Ryan.
