WLIC Hosting Video Submission Contest

Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium (WLIC) is hosting a contest to bring awareness and further understanding of livestock traceability. Industry members from all levels are invited to participate for a chance to win a prize pack featuring WLIC branded gear and other perks from supporting businesses.  Multiple winners will be chosen.

To enter, participants are encouraged to create a video (videos via cell phone accepted) voicing their thoughts on traceability. Whether from firsthand experience, or from a consumer standpoint of food safety, all videos are wanted! Videos should be 30 seconds to one minute in length and can be submitted via the WLIC website at wiid.org.

Those wanting to participate but need more information on traceability are encouraged to watch the video produced by WLIC, highlighting traceability, premises registration and the benefits of RFID technology and the process of how it is all used together to protect our food supply. The video can be found via the WLIC website www.wiid.org.

One winner will be chosen per month, for three consecutive months. Drawings will be held in the beginning of each month beginning in January 2021. Winners will be notified via email. If prize is not claimed within five business days a new winner will be chosen.

Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium (WLIC) is a private, non-profit (501c3) organization working to protect animal health and prevent the spread of disease through livestock and premises identification and traceability. For more information or to become a member or sponsor, visit www.wiid.org or call 888-808-1910.
