Fond du Lac County Planning Drive Thru Experience

Together, Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Agri-Business Council and Vir-Clar Farms, LLC will host a Drive-Thru Ag-Venture event on Sunday, June 28 as part of June Dairy Month.

The Drive-Thru Ag-Venture will be held at Vir-Clar Farms, LLC, located at N5057 County Rd K, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (cars must be in line by 1:30 p.m. to participate in this event). Cost is $20 per car if purchased online in advance or $30 per car (cash only, no change) the day of the event. This event will adhere to safe, socially distancing guidelines. Attendees will remain in their vehicles throughout the entire tour.

“The Fond du Lac Agri-Business Council is truly excited to celebrate Wisconsin agriculture,” Amy Ries, director of agricultural programs at Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “It’s important for us to provide an event that will educate the public and promote agriculture – it’s our mission – as well an opportunity to support the agriculture industry and celebrate what it contributes to Wisconsin’s economy.”

Given the current environmental climate, this event offers a chance to still celebrate the agricultural industry in our county. During this event, guests can enjoy an audio tour of Vir-Clar Farms, courtesy of Breeze Dairy Group, as well as other vehicle-friendly family activities. Guests are encouraged to bring binoculars to take in the entire experience. Throughout the ag-venture, guests will see Wisconsin agriculture showcased through educational exhibits and food samples.

Tickets are available now by visiting https://bit.ly/2ZfEihZ. Only a limited number of tickets are available.

About Pam Jahnke

Getting up at 2 in the morning might shock some of her listeners, but for Pam Jahnke, it’s part of the business. Born in Northeastern Wisconsin, Pam Jahnke grew up in agriculture. Raised on her family’s 200-acre dairy farm, she learned the “farm work ethic” first hand.
