The 2020 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days show still is a go for July 21-23 at Huntsinger Farms in Eau Claire County.
Farm Technology Days general manager Matt Glewen today said the show’s executive committee is working with the Eau Claire County Health Department to monitor the coronavirus situation. An update will be issued on May 1, he said.
“The health and safety of our attendees, volunteers and exhibitors from across Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa is our primary concern,” Glewen said in a letter to exhibitors.
Being outdoors is an advantage for Farm Technology Days compared with indoors shows in a situation such as the one being presented by coronavirus, according to Glewen. He also noted that it’s being held later during summer, which also is a benefit.
“Based on everything we know from experts right now, we are moving forward with planning for a great show for our exhibitors and attendees in July,” Glewen said.
The exhibitors’ final payment deadline also has been moved from April 15 to May 15.
