Ag Student Details Ripple Effects of COVID-19 in Education

It’s rare to come across a sector in the United States that has not been impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. From agriculture to retail to public safety, every aspect of life as we know it has been altered to some degree. When it comes to education, many students have found their worlds turned upside down as campuses across the nation shift to online classes and postpone commencements.

Meikah Dado is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she double majors in Dairy Science and Life Science Communications. Josh Scramlin recently spoke with Dado about the laundry list of consequences that COVID-19 has had on education and extracurricular activities.
