Leadership and new programs were on display recently during a visit with the Black River Falls FFA chapter.
Chapter advisor Brad Markhardt, who’s in his 28th year of teaching, said it’s important to continue working to approve programs offered to his students.
“We’re constantly revising things and making things better,” he said.
The chapter last year voted to become an affiliated chapter, which means that all Black River Falls High School students who take an agriculture-related class become FFA members.
So much is going on beneath our feet right now,” Markhardt said. “And one of the things I love about teaching is learning.”
Markhardt said he wants the school’s graduates to always continue learning.
The advisor noted that the Black River Falls FFA Alumni chapter and the community as a whole are major supporters of the FFA chapter’s activities.
