The harvest slowly continues in many parts of the state.
Jackson County dairy farmer Brian Larson, who operates Valley Ridge Farm, was in his combine late yesterday when he caught a photograph of what still lies ahead of him.
Like so many other farmers in his area of the state, there’s plenty of harvesting left to do — especially in the corn fields.
Larson expressed his feelings with the photograph: “Harvest 2019. When will it end? It’s like a bad hangnail. You just want to rip it off and be done with it.” — Scott Schultz
