The weather has brought plenty of winter-like beauty to the northern two-thirds of Wisconsin — including turning a northern Driftless Area cornfield, woods and shed into a crystallized wonderland. Though admitting its beauty, that farmland’s owner said he’s concerned about finishing his harvest this year because of snow in the fields and on the plants; he’s also concerned that the snow has insulated the wet soil enough that it’s not freezing enough to carry harvest equipment. — Scott Schultz
