The Midwest Farm Report Network would like any and all members of the WFBF Young Farmer group to submit their vocal skills trying their hand at reporting some farm news and markets with a little personality.
The top 5 submissions will be circulated to ALL Young Farmer Conference attendees to cast their vote on who they pick as the next “Babe”. Voting will be done by number – not name, so you’ll only have your voice and creativity to win them over!
Just take your cell phone and record away! We’ve even supplied you a script! Try it as many times as you like. When you’ve found one you like – email it: [email protected]
A group of people will go over them all and select the top 5 for voting during the Friday evening conference activities and entertainment, as well as Saturday morning before the luncheon. Josh Scramlin will announce the official vote results and introduce the winner during the Saturday luncheon. He’ll also present the $500 cash prize at that time. All of the top 5 will receive some compensation.
Remember – you’re only being selected based on your voice and delivery of the story and markets. If you send video – the voice is the only thing that will be used.
If you’ve got questions – fire away! [email protected]
We’ll have a live link with the top 5 for everyone’s listening entertainment and voting active Friday afternoon at the Kalahari!
Have fun “Being The Babe”!
