Pair a wet spring with a wet fall and the result will likely not be the best when it comes to hay. Much like other crops in 2019, Wisconsin hay is seeing its share of struggles as 2020 approaches. With snow on the ground, the big question now is where will farmers have to go to obtain quality hay? Perhaps an even bigger question is how much will they have to pay to obtain that hay?
