Now more than ever, the management skills, global and local market
awareness, flexibility and mental acuteness are more critical than ever
for dairy farmers and agribusiness. The Professional Dairy Producers®
announce the 2020 Managers Academy for Dairy Professionals™, themed “Renew, Refine, Rethink” and held Jan. 14-16, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The annual executive-level program will provide a reset in thinking and
help cultivate new ideas and strategies to lead dairy farms successfully
into the next decade. Bringing together dairy owners and managers,
industry directors, processors, marketers and distributors, attendees
will hear from national speakers, partake in out-of-industry tours, and
network with progressive, forward-thinking peers.
Expert trainers include:
- Dr. Holly Green, CEO and managing director of the Human Factor, a consulting firm that develops leadership knowledge, skills and competencies, and
- Michael Hoffman, founder and owner of Igniting Performance Inc., specializing in the skills of sales, customer loyalty and leadership.
In addition to the in-class experience, executive tours will allow
discovery of the many parallels found out of industry. Tours will
include a behind-the-scenes look at a cotton gin and cotton classing
facility and discussion with the executive team of Valero Energy
Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of transportation fuels.
