Wisconsin’s agriculture secretary-designee and the media received an Oct. 18 preview of what might be expected at the 2020 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days in Eau Claire County.
A tour of the farm and some of the initial Tent City plans were shared when state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection secretary-designee Brad Pfaff visited Huntsinger Farms of Eau Claire, which will host the 2020 show.
Organizers said the July 21-23 show will include tours of the Huntsinger Farms facilities and fields, tours of the neighboring Nellie Holsteins dairy farm. The traditional Farm Technology Days Tent City also will feature an Innovation Square, in which other regional products including apples, red kidney beans, specialty cheeses, cranberries, rye, hemp, aquaponics and fish, and other specialty and niche commodities are highlighted. — Story and photographs by Scott Schultz
