Howard Marklein was a champion of the dairy innovation hub once it had been recommended by the Dairy Task Force 2.0. So when the funding for it came up in the Joint Finance Committee he worked to ensure that it would get $8.8 million.
Now that the Hub has been funded, he shared what he sees as the next steps, and some of what he hopes will come from it.
He also shared that he has been meeting with rural volunteer EMS recently to find out what he can do to help in regards to low numbers. He shared more about what he heard.
