Recently, James Klein and Nancy Hornack joined the work force at Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association in Baraboo.
Klein joins as a Software Developer. In this position, he is responsible for working with the IT team to support ELM (Equity Livestock Management) softtware, and assist our ELM developer with updates and improvements. He will also be involved in additional programming opportunities. Klein has over 10 years of experience designing, writing, and supporting internal operations-based software. He holds an associate degree in micro computer programming from Blackhawk Technical College and resides in Madison.
Hornack joins as an Accounting Clerk. She brings more than 15 years of accounting expertise, primarily in the food service industry and most recently with a non-profi t organization. Hornack will be assuming the responsibilities of managing sales and patron data, along with other tasks. She has a certificate in accounting and fi nance from the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo campus. Hornack has a daughter, Josie, and resides with her family in Reedsburg.
Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association is a federated cooperative headquartered in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Equity operates 12 auction markets and a private treaty buying center in Arlington, Wisconsin. The cooperative has livestock collection points in Ettrick, Wisconsin, and Menominee, Michigan. Equity services producers in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. They assist producers with the marketing, managing and financing of their agricultural businesses.
