Every year thousands of children are hurt during a routine activity at almost every home. Most people don’t even think about this task posing a potential risk, but mowing the lawn can pose a serious risk to children. Dr. Kenneth Noonan, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, hopes that some day lawn mower accidents will be a thing of the past, and has shared guidelines on how we can get there.
