Jefferson County Farm Technology Days 2019 has extended the deadline for local exhibitors in the Rural Entertainment Center (formally the family living tent). “We are proud to be showcasing Jefferson County and the people that live and work here for the 2019 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days,” said Tim Finger, Rural Entertainment Center (REC) executive chair. The REC committee is currently seeking informational and educational exhibitors from non-profits and civic organizations found throughout the county. The exhibits will showcase both agriculture and non-agriculture organizations. Interactive activities are encouraged and can pertain to both farm and non-farm individuals, making it fun and educational for the whole family. Booth space is available to county non-profits, educational and civic organizations free of charge, but space is limited. The booths must be staffed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Booths are approximately 10 feet by 10 feet, with some larger booths available. The updated application deadline is April 30, 2019. Applications can be found online at http://www.wifarmtechnologydays.com/jefferson/. For more information or questions, please contact Tim Finger at 920-253-0628 or Melissa Pinter 920-945-0447.
About Pam Jahnke
Getting up at 2 in the morning might shock some of her listeners, but for Pam Jahnke, it’s part of the business. Born in Northeastern Wisconsin, Pam Jahnke grew up in agriculture. Raised on her family’s 200-acre dairy farm, she learned the “farm work ethic” first hand.
