Weather Doesn’t Stop The Blue And Gold

National FFA Week celebrations around Wisconsin got a bit of a setback early this week thanks to Mother Nature!

During a studio visit with Wisconsin State FFA President, Ciera Ballmer and State Sentinel, Sam Jesse, the noted that some school closures due to winter slowed some of the celebrating!  Both officers had chapter visits scheduled starting on Monday that were postponed or canceled due to snow and ice.

Despite that slowdown, their energy was still strong during their visit with the WI Farm Report.  Both officers noted that membership across the state continues to climb, and that they’re very excited about recent changes to the National FFA Alumni Association that will help bring more supporters into the group.

About Pam Jahnke

Getting up at 2 in the morning might shock some of her listeners, but for Pam Jahnke, it’s part of the business. Born in Northeastern Wisconsin, Pam Jahnke grew up in agriculture. Raised on her family’s 200-acre dairy farm, she learned the “farm work ethic” first hand.
