The latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service , Agricultural Prices report is out. This report covers the agriculture prices for the month of November 2017.
The report found that the November 2017 average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin was $3.12 per bushel. This was down $0.14 from October 2017 and down $0.04 from the previous November.
The November soybean price in the Badger state was reported, at $9.40 per bushel this was up $0.18 from October and $0.02 above the previous November.
The Wisconsin November oat price was $2.99 per bushel, $0.11 above the October price and $1.14 above November 2016.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $131.00 per ton in November, up $19.00 from October and up $36.00 from November 2016. The alfalfa hay price averaged $138.00 per ton in November, up $17.00 from October and up $38.00 from the previous November. The other hay price averaged $103.00, up $11.00 from October and up $33.00 from the November 2016 price.
Lastly, the USDA report found that the average price for Wisconsin milk in November averaged $19.00 per hundred weight (CWT). This average milk price was up $0.50 from October 2017 and $0.30 above November a year ago.
