Dairy Management Inc. Honored with Cornerstone Award

The National Dairy Shrine held their 68th annual banquet, on October 5, 2017 at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin. During the banquet Dairy Management Inc. was bestowed the honor of receiving The National Dairy Shrine Cornerstone Award. Dairy Management Inc. was awarded the honor for the countless hours that staff members have dedicated to numerous tasks in service to National Dairy Shrine over the past 20 years.

The National Dairy Shrine developed the Cornerstone Award to recognize organizations or corporations who have provided long-term support and exceptional contributions to National Dairy Shrine. The name for the award was chosen to reflect the fact that the support of these companies provides a significant contribution to the foundation of National Dairy Shrine. Dairy Management Inc. exudes these qualities through the many staff members that have worked tirelessly on National Dairy Shrine projects; serving as National Dairy Shrine board members, serving on numerous committees, and for providing monetary support for excellent scholarship recipients through the Dairy Management Inc. Education & Communication and Milk Marketing Scholarships.

A plaque with a color photo of the National Dairy Shrine museum was presented to Dairy Management Inc. and their representatives at the National Dairy Shrine Awards Banquet. A permanent plaque inscribed with the name of the honoree will be permanently displayed at the National Dairy Shrine Museum in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

National Dairy Shrine brings together dairy industry professionals, dairy producers, scientists, students, educators, marketers, consultants and others who share a desire to preserve dairy history, honor dairy leaders and encourage future dairy leaders to sustain a strong dairy industry. All dairy enthusiasts are encouraged to become a part of this uniquely important organization. Membership information is available by visiting www.dairyshrine.org or contacting the main office at [email protected].
