World Beef Expo Open Show Winners Announced

This year the World Beef Expo was held September 22-25, and it marked the 25th anniversary for the Expo.

Each year, the World Beef Expo attracts cattle enthusiasts from all around the country to visit Milwaukee for one of the Midwest’s largest cattle expositions. This year to celebrate the 25th anniversary the expo offered a variety of educational opportunities, youth sweepstakes and showmanship contest, a multi-breed sale, a trade show plus much more.

This year more than 600 exhibitors from 22 states displayed, exhibited or sold cattle during the event. From the exhibitors there were more than 1400 entries in the Open and Junior Show.

Only a hand full of the 1400 entries stood at the top of the World Beef Expo Open Show Supreme drive.

Supreme Champion Heifer: Low Percentage Simmental exhibited by Whitney Walker, Prairie Grove, AR

Supreme Champion Cow/Calf Pair : Angus exhibited by Rocklin Farms, Rockbridge, IL
