Dairy Cares – Kickin It With The Cows Run/Walk to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin

The Dairy Cares organization was started years ago when individuals in dairy production and industry partners decided to come together and start raising money to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.  To date the group has raised substantial funds through different events.

For the first time the organization has decided to host a first of its kind run/walk incorporating agriculture.  The group has decided to call their event “Kickin’ it with the Cows.”  Participants will be able to run or walk a 5 or 10k along the Fox River in DePere.  The course will start at Voyager park and will quickly turn onto the Fox River Trail, taking in all of the Fox River pier for beautiful views.  When contestants finish there will be cows waiting for you, when you finally stop moving you can start mooing.  Race participants and spectators will have the chance to interact with live animals and dairy professionals.  Plenty of food will be available as well.  Make sure to visit www.dairycares.com to register yourself or a team.

 Once again the event is “Kickin’ it with the cows” a 5k or 10k run/walk.  Race starts at 7:30am on July 8^th at Voyager Park, DePere, WI.
