Pheasants Forever is excited to announce Alex Weber, a Wisconsin native, as the organization’s new Wisconsin Regional Representative. In his new role, Weber will provide support and guidance for volunteers of the Badger State, home to 30 Pheasants Forever chapters, one Quail Forever chapter, and more than 8,700 members.
“Home to some of the most dedicated upland bird hunters and passionate chapter volunteers in the Midwest, the state of Wisconsin is critical to the success of Pheasants Forever,” stated Tom Fuller, north regional director for Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever. “To that end, the organization is thrilled to add Alex Weber to its ranks. I’m confident this young professional will help grow our organizational footprint in Wisconsin with phenomenal habitat projects, great chapter service, and his overall desire to impact the mission of Pheasants Forever.”
Growing up in southern Wisconsin, Weber recalls chasing ringnecks with his father and their bird dogs before he could even carry a firearm; it was this experience that sparked a love for wildlife habitat conservation. After completing his college education and earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Natural Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin–Steven’s Point, Weber earned the title of Restoration Technician with EC3 Environmental Consulting Group, Inc. based in Baraboo, Wisconsin. His devotion to habitat management and educating others about the natural wonders of the world will help propel Pheasants Forever’s mission in his new role.
“Having both a personal and professional connection to the organization in past years, it truly is a privilege to work for Pheasants Forever and join a great team of passionate outdoorsmen and women,” stated Alex Weber, regional representative for Wisconsin. “I strongly believe in the mission of this organization and look forward to working with local chapters to make a difference in Wisconsin.”
Weber officially started as the Wisconsin Regional Representative on Monday, May 15th. For more information about Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever in Wisconsin, contact Alex Weber at (608) 333-8599 or [email protected]
