Start Celebrating With A New Grill

In Wisconsin – May is BEEF MONTH!  To help kick it off the right way, the Wisconsin Beef Council is giving you an opportunity to win a brand new grill – and great Wisconsin beef for that grill!

Angie Horkan with the Wisconsin Beef Council explains that Wisconsin is one of the few states that keeps adding cattle numbers on each year.  Those additions come in large part because of the dairy industry and all the Holstein steers that dairy producers raise for beef!  Horkan says many consumers may be surprised that the average size of a Wisconsin beef herd is just 18 animals!

Listen for more details on what Wisconsin Beef is all about – and register to win that grill and beef!

About Pam Jahnke

Getting up at 2 in the morning might shock some of her listeners, but for Pam Jahnke, it’s part of the business. Born in Northeastern Wisconsin, Pam Jahnke grew up in agriculture. Raised on her family’s 200-acre dairy farm, she learned the “farm work ethic” first hand.
