Badger Bean updates are brought to Wisconsin Farm Report Radio Network listeners, thanks to the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board.  The goal is to reinforce for growers how valuable check-off dollars are in research, education and outreach, while educating consumers on the value Wisconsin soybeans bring to the economy and our plates.

White mold, sudden death syndrome (SDS) – bring those phrases up in conversation with a Wisconsin soybean grower and you’ll like get response.  2016 was one of the most challenging years for growers facing those in-field obstacles.  Dr. Shawn Conley, UW-Extension Soybean Specialist, says paying attention to details before planters roll could be the game changer this year.
